Detoxification(7-20 days) - Rules and regulations

RULES:

FRUITS AND VEGGIES ONLY (STEAMED BAKED OR STIR FRIED), NO SUGAR, NO SALT (ONLY SEA SALT IF NEEDED), ANY SEASONING WITH NO SUGAR OR SALT, NO BEANS, AS LITTLE CORN AS POSSIBLE AND NO DAIRY. FOR BEST RESULT FOLLOW THE RULES!! DRINK LOTS WATER AND EAT AT LEAST EVERY 2 HOURS. TRY TO EAT VEGGIES AS RAW AS POSSIBLE DURING THIS DETOX. LET’S DO THIS!!

 

IMPORTANT:

Most people have an increase of their symptoms during the first 10 days, and especially, the first 3 days of this program. Those symptoms include flu-like symptoms, such as headaches (common), nausea and in some cases diarrhea. These symptoms are normal in most cases. Following the detox period, a sense of well-being relaxation and increase of energy are quite common. On the last day of the fast, drink water only. **Do not take any supplements**

 

YOUR DAILY REGIME SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS:

Breakfast:     

  • Raw fruit salad (apples, pears, berries, kiwi, orange, grapefruit, etc.)
  • Rawfruit juices (cider, sugar free juice or freshly made juice)

2hrs later:

  • Raw fruit/juice (4-8oz) NO SUGAR ADDED

Lunch:

  • Large raw vegetables salad (recommended at least 6 different mostly green leafy veggies); use olive oil and fresh lemon, apple cider or balsamic vinegar; condiments such as garlic, herbs, and spices that are salt and sugar free acceptable (a little sea salt may be used).

2hrs later:

  • Raw veggie juice (carrot, celery spinach, beets, etc.)

Dinner:

  • Raw fruit or veggies, raw fruit or veggie juice(4-8oz.), steamed or stir fried veggies (wok style) with appropriate condiments: vegetable soup made from scratch (you may use 1 miso, vegex beef, or chicken bouillon cube as a base); vegetables as desired; or have a raw veggie salad. **Remember broth with chicken bouillon can only be made once a day during dinner hours only.**

2hrs later:

  • Any raw fruit/veggie or fruit/veggie juices.

EAT AND DRINK AT LEAST EVERY 2 HOURS. DO NOT SKIP MEALS. DO NOT COUNT CALORIES AND EAT UNTIL SATISFIED.

 

Before bedtime:

  • You can have a sugar free cup of organic tea (mint, chamomile, sleepytime, etc.)

  • You can soak in a hot bath with 1 cup of dead sea salt or bath therapy salt for 20-30 minutes

  • Drink lots of fluids (water, tea, salt-free V8 or 100% fruit juices)

  • You may also do some light exercise

 

Lots of rest is needed during this detox/fast. Take 15-20 minutes of relaxation, music and prayer at the end of a long day. Discipline is key. God bless!
